Take me on the trip, I would like to go someday….Estelle; American Boy

I am soo not in the mood to work today, been listening to my fav mp3 list over and over with my to do list still unmarked with done. Hey..it’s Monday…nuthin you can do with the blues…hahaha

Last 3 weeks, I went to HK for a work trip and I brought along my lil princess with me, could not leave her in KL crying for milk as she is still on exclusive breastfeed and most of all…could not bear being apart from her for a week. And so I brought my hubby to baby-sit.

I had never being to HK before but it is not totally out of imagination for us when we arrived in Lantau on Monday night. The city just like any big city with big billboard and side by side skyscrapers commercial building and most… I mean most like 90% of the population is commuting via MRT, bus or ferry to go to work, shopping or sightseeing. We’ve tried both, MRT and ferry and it is quite convenient and user friendly. It only took us 10 minutes to go from mainland to Hong Kong with fare ticket of HKD 2.50 which is much expensive compared to taxi fare, HKD 77.90 for a ride from my hotel in Tsim Tsa Shui to the office in Wan Chai. During 10 minutes in the ferry mesmerized us with panorama view along the Victoria harbour and opposite side.

At night, after the meeting we went out to explore HK by visiting Mong Kok, Stanley streets and Templer Streets via MRT. My daughter sleeps very well on the carrier and gives some exercise to my hubby carried 7kg cute girl while walking like 1.5kilo for a window shopping at the night market..hihihi..he sweat even in chilly weather.

We took many pictures for digital souvenir to ourselves and best view is by the Victoria Harbour at night and jetty at day. On the last day of the trip, we need to check out at 12pm and the flight is at 5pm, so we went to Caravan road to find souvenir shop which my hubby had aim, he said that the owner of the shop is nice uncle, who could offer cheaper price compared to others shop…and on the way looking for the shop with no map (we left our map in hotel room) we found another Stanley streets small signboard heading to aisle in old building and got myself 2 pretty silk bag for my mom and mother in law. ..still we could not find “the uncle shop” and almost lost in the middle of Hart Avenue and Prat Avenue and clock is ticking for we need to get back to hotel to take our baggage and one hours ride to airport.

Luckily, we didn’t get panic and with some sixth sense of GPS in our head we manage to find the shop and right after bought some t-shirt and antique mirror we stop at Kowloon mosque to pray Jamak Zuhur and Asar before head straight to hotel to take our baggage and took a taxi to airport. I plan to give some tips to the bell boy but dunno how should I hand it to him as we are quite rushing. There goes another chance not giving tips to bell boy. Once was on the first day check in, “shy-shy cat” to hand the tip to the bell boy who brought out baggage from taxi to the room...

Two weeks after back from HK, my princess got high fever and pediatricians said that she had infection in her throat which coz the fever, I suspected the infection is due to air pollution during our trip in HK, by taking the quote from first doctor in ICU “yesterday my daughter told me the PSI is 500 in HK..” why the doctor tell me this? coz, we updated him that we just back from there and it so happen that he is PR from HK… and now my lil princess just recover and had got her crawling steps…cahyokk adriana
